Cempasúchil, también cempoalxóchitl, cempaxochitl, cempoal (o zempoal), flor de muertos o clavel chino. Nombre científico: Tagetes erecta. Deriva del náhuatl cempohualxochitl(cempohuali significa «veinte», y xóchitl significa «flor», es decir, «veinte flores»), se usa en ofrendas del día de muertos en todo el país.
